Lisa Dunn

Her talent playing the french horn in a grade 8 band unfortunately conflicted with Lisa's social life and led to a long hiatus from music.  In the early nineties, Lisa briefly married, and inspired her song “My Mama Always Warned Me”.  During this period, she found herself singing in Philadelphia with an all-black gospel choir and so it made perfect sense that 20 years later she would be singing blues with a group of white, Canadian “elders” in Vancouver.  You now know the well-kept secret as to how Blues singers are made!
